The KEN Lever Hoist is a versatile manual hoist designed for lifting, tensioning, and lashing in any direction. With a compact design and robust, deep-drawn, stamped steel construction, this ratchet lever hoist ensures reliability without compromising on light weight. It features a low weight, small mounting sizes, and requires minimal lever force at full load. The hoist is equipped with an asbestos free brake, allowing it to hold the load at any desired height. Safety is paramount with top and bottom hooks fitted with standard safety latches. The load chain can be easily pulled through the hoist in both directions for attaching the load or tensioning the chain, though this cannot be done when the hoist is under load for safety reasons. The short hand lever with a rubber grip operates with little effort, thanks to an optimal gear ratio. The drop-forged steel suspension and load hooks are heat-treated and fracture-resistant, ensuring that in case of dangerous overloading, the hook yields slowly instead of fracturing. Additionally, the hoist is fitted with a high-grade alloy load chain and complies with EC Council Directive 98/37/EC Machinery, ASME B30, and AS1418.2 standards.
