Watering:
Only water your Dracaena Marginata when the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry. Use room temperate water. Yellow leaves indicate a thirsty Dracaena Marginata. Brown edges of a green leaf indicate overwatering.
Light:
Dracaena Marginata prefers medium indirect sunlight but can survive in low light situations. Bleached leaves with dry brown spots usually indicate the plant is getting too much light. Pale leaves, slow growth, and small new leaves indicate it is not getting enough light.
Dracaenas will thrive with a water-soluble commercial houseplant fertilize. Look for mixes with a 3:1:2 ratio of nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium. You will see these nutrients listed as N, P, and K on the packaging.
