Passtech first appeared as Passtech International Ltd in1987, initially operating as an Export House dealing with Saudi Arabian Industry mainly in Jubail.
In 1995 Allied Britannia was launched which was a partnership with a Saudi Arabian Trading company . During this time the profile developed which would today be recognisable as Passtech Machine Tools. However , in 1999 the partnership ended between the Saudi Arabian company and Allied Britannia consequently closed. Passtech Machine Tools was launched the same year in the United Arab Emirates with Passtech International Ltd acting as the UK service company.
From 2000 until 31st December 2011 that profile has remained the same however the growth of the company has been steady and progressive.
The prestigious names that are now represented by Passtech have grown along with the number of staff and turnover of the company, bringing additional skills and experience to the business to further assist our many customers.
In 2009 we added a branch company in Saudi Arabia, allowing Passtech to operate in Saudi Arabia under its own license and without any Sponsor.
1st January 2012, Passtech Machine Tools M.E. Ltd took over the role of supporting the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new 600 Sq Metre warehouse . Passtech International was replaced by Passtech UK as the support company in the UK.
The company at this time remains under the private ownership of the Managing Director and Group Chairman, Mr. Robert Pass.
Operating in the Middle East region for over 20 years Passtech offer a comprehensive sales, support and service function for the whole of the GCC region.
We supply global market leading products and support them with a complete after sales and support function, embracing servicing, applications work and turnkey supply.
From our Middle East headquarters we manage the whole of the GCC with further offices and representation in Qatar and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Our primary suppliers are Doosan Infracore Machine Tools, Kennametal, Hartford, Cimcool, Renishaw, Hankook and Cogsdill and we deliver to our customers a complete supply solution for the manufacture of metal components and assemblies in the Oil and Gas, Aerospace and General Engineering sectors.
Employing approx 35 people in the UAE and with almost 60% of our staff technical the level of support is unique in the regions we cover.
This is further demonstrated by our recently opened Showroom and Warehouse facility in Sharjah which houses machines for demonstration purposes as well as in house training and application support facilities
