Raw milk is supplied from eight German federal states and areas close to the border in French Lorraine, in Luxembourg and the Netherlands. The milk, which is produced to a high level of quality, is processed into a wide range of dairy products. The milk is shipped to the different dairy plants depending on demand and/or method of utilisation.
As a food producer, Hochwald operates in a market oriented manner, satisfies the customer's expectations and utilises natural resources to sustainably save them for future generations. We are cooperating with agricultural producers as well as all other suppliers of raw materials, auxiliary substances and packaging materials on issues of quality assurance and prevention of environmental pollution as well as the protection of environmental goods. Also in terms of such guidelines, we have implemented a quality management system according to international standards such as IFS (International Food Standard) as well as the BRC standard (British Retail Consortium), which is regularly checked by approved neutral organisations.
